Save a Hero Day

Save A Hero Day will bring together individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations from across the United States in an event to educate and prepare families transitioning out of the military and back into the civilian community, and to support those in the military who are suffering from the symptoms of stress, PTSD, and suicide. By partnering with like-minded civic leaders, businesses, and other nonprofit organizations, we can collectively address and meet the needs of these Service Members and their families.
The events of Save A Hero Day are intended to encourage families from across the Midwest and to support the families of Fort Leavenworth, Fort Riley, Whiteman Air Force Base, Fort Leonard Wood, McConnell Air Force Base, the Kansas and Missouri National Guard and Reserve Forces, Kansas City (MO), Kansas City (KS), and Leavenworth (KS).
