  * You take more then one shower a month.
  * You’re able to smile when talking about your spouse.
  * Pizza, alcohol and chocolates aren’t your main diet.
  * Crying isn’t a daily routine.
  * Clean underwear doesn’t consist of turning them inside out.
  * Sharing stories from your past doesn’t make you cry.
  * Everyone asks if you got your haircut but all you did was brush it for once.
  * Living isn’t the worst thing to happen to you.
  * You can’t make a sweater out of your leg hair.
  * You stop worrying about what everyone will think and just live life.
  * When you realize you are becoming stronger from the challenges you face.
  * Being alone is not a negative but more of a time of reflection.
  * You speak with someone besides your pets.
  * Reminding yourself to breathe is a thing of the past.
  * When you’re open to new beginnings.
  * You smile everyday.
  * Memories become your most treasured asset.
  * You laugh out loud and mean it.
  * You can whole-heartedly tell someone else life really DOES go on.
  * When you e-mail us things you‘ve learned on your walk through widowhood.
